Linode のデータセンターを Dallas から Fremont に移動した

やり方は簡単。

Support Ticket から Linode を別のデータセンターに移動したいと伝える
数時間後(自分の場合は6時間後)に、Linode を移動するためのツールが用意される
Linode の WEB サイトからユーザーページにログインし、Dashboard のページへ移動する
稼働している Linode を停止する
移動を実施するためのページがあるので、そこへリンクをクリックして移動する
注意書きをよく読んで、移動を実行させる

Linode のデータサイズによって、移動が完了する時間は変わる。説明書きには 1GB あたり 10分〜 15分はかかると記載されている。
また、移動後は割り当てられているIPアドレスとサーバー名が変更されるので、注意すること。

メールに記載された説明内容

Your migration to the Fremont datacenter has been configured. Please (re)login to the Member's site, shutdown, and click the migrate button to move to your new server. Your disk images will be moved with you. The migration should take 10-15 minutes per gig of data to complete.
